Get the most out of the Felicloud mobile app on iOS and Android - access files, auto-upload photos, and more.

Good to knowFelicloud uses the Nextcloud mobile apps. When setting up, use cloud.felicloud.com as the server address.

Browsing Files

The mobile app gives you full access to your cloud storage:

  • Browse: Navigate through your folders like a file manager
  • Search: Tap the search icon to find files by name
  • Sort: Sort by name, date, or size
  • Filter: Show only photos, documents, or recent files

Viewing and Opening Files

Tap any file to preview or open it:

Photos & Videos

View in the built-in gallery. Swipe to browse.

Documents

Preview PDFs, Office files, and text files directly.

Other Files

Open in compatible apps or download for offline use.

Uploading Files

1. From the App

Tap the + button to:

  • Take a photo or video
  • Upload from your photo library
  • Upload files from your device
  • Create a new folder

2. From Other Apps

Use the share sheet in any app to upload files directly to Felicloud. Select "Felicloud" or "Save to Nextcloud" from the share options.

Auto-Upload Photos

Automatically back up your photos and videos to Felicloud:

1. Enable Auto-Upload

Go to Settings → Auto-upload → Toggle on "Auto-upload photos" and/or "Auto-upload videos".

2. Choose Upload Folder

Select where uploaded photos should go (default: /Photos/Camera).

3. Configure Options

Choose your preferences:

  • WiFi only: Save mobile data
  • While charging: Save battery
  • Subfolders: Organize by year/month
  • Delete after upload: Free phone storage

Offline Access

Make files available offline to access without internet:

1. Make Available Offline

Tap the ⋯ menu on any file or folder → "Make available offline".

2. View Offline Files

Tap the menu icon (☰) → "Offline" to see all your offline files.

3. Remove Offline Copy

Tap ⋯ → "Remove from offline" to free up phone storage.

Good to knowOffline files sync automatically when you reconnect to the internet.

Sharing from Mobile

1. Share a File

Tap the ⋯ menu on any file → "Share".

2. Create Link or Share with User

Choose how to share:

  • Share link: Create a link anyone can access
  • Share with user: Share with another Felicloud user

3. Send the Share

Use the system share sheet to send via WhatsApp, email, messages, or any other app.

Favorites and Recent Files

⭐ Favorites

Tap the star icon on any file to add it to favorites.

Access: Menu → Favorites

🕐 Recent

Quickly access recently viewed or modified files.

Access: Menu → Recent

Mobile Settings

Access settings by tapping the menu icon (☰) → Settings:

Display

Theme (light/dark), list or grid view

Security

Lock with PIN, Touch ID, or Face ID

Storage

Clear cache, manage offline files

Auto-upload

Configure automatic photo/video backup

iOS Features

iOS-specific features:

  • Files app integration: Access Felicloud from the iOS Files app
  • Widgets: Add Felicloud widgets to your home screen
  • Shortcuts: Create Siri Shortcuts for common actions
  • Share extension: Save files to Felicloud from any app

Android Features

Android-specific features:

  • File picker integration: Select Felicloud files in any app
  • Widgets: Quick upload and storage widgets
  • Background sync: Sync continues when app is closed
  • Split-screen: Use Felicloud alongside other apps
